A board-certiﬁed and Mayo Clinic fellowship-trained gastroenterology specialist, Dr Ramzan has been in practice 16 years and has been recognized as a “Top Doc” in Phoenix magazine. He is a fellow of the American Gastroenterology Association and a member of the American College of Gastroenterology.
Dr Ramzan has two speciality components to his practice:
Arizona Gastrointestinal Associates. PLC, is his private practice. Patients receive personalized care for the prevention, diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal disorders; and
Digestive Heath Research Unit (DHRU) is his clinical research trials practice. Patients have an opportunity to participate in Dr Ramzan’s ongoing studies to further the research of new treatments.

Dr Ramzan specializes in GERD or acid reflux, Barrett esophagus, hiatal hernia, ulcers, indigestion, bloating, gas, diarrhea, constipation, internal hemorrhoids, blood in stool, colon cancer (also known as bowel cancer), Celiac disease (or Sprue), nausea, vomiting, explained weight loss or weight gain, Crohn disease, Ulcerative colitis, gallbladder disease and pancreatic diseases. His participation and recruitment of patients for clinical research trials is focused on several studies in his speciality including Crohn disease and Ulcerative Colitis. By engaging in these trials he hopes to ﬁnd new treatments for patients with gastrointestinal diseases.
